Spokane ForestSFP weekly market update
A quick read on lumber trends, product availability, and what to keep in mind when planning your next purchase.
The short version
The September 25 report showed softer commodity lumber pricing, which may open up buying opportunities on selected items. Panels were firmer, and some machine-stress-rated (MSR) products needed more lead time. Matching your requirements with current offers is a practical way to explore value and plan ahead.

OSB and western plywood were firmer, with tighter availability on some items. Starting the conversation early gives you time to check shipment options against your project schedule.
Some MSR products, particularly 2x6 2100f, were harder to source. We can help check options for your required specification and timing. Any alternative must meet your project’s requirements; grades are not interchangeable.
